So, first off, the Sunday line-up is now complete with the addition of one-man-band extraordinaire, White Town. Yes, so you might remember them from their 1997 No.1 ‘Your Woman’ – but Jyoti Mishra isn’t all about that, you know. He’s written some rather wonderful indiepop songs and has charmed and delighted audiences in Sweden (particularly) in the last few years. We are ever so happy he’s agreed to play!
The complete line-up for Sunday is now on the bands+schedule page and it looks awesome. Tickets are limited for this and you can buy them for only £6 here (unless, of course, you have a popfest pass).
As for Saturday, the mighty mighty Plouf! (albeit version 2.0) have been added to the line-up of our all-dayer. They are now a duo consisting of tonieee (formerly of Velodrome 2000 and The Parallelograms – can you tell that it’s the same person behind all these websites…?) and Elodie, and this is going to be their first show as v.2.0 which is rather exciting. Plouf!
We’re nearly there. I could do with a drink now.
